  OUR LADDER TO SUCCESS  
     
      Late Mr.M.S.Arulanandam, father of Dass Brothers, in the year 1968, established the parent organization in the name and style of M /S.Dass Photo graphics. The trading company mainly involved in selling cameras and lenses of all leading international brands, besides photographic film rolls and other photographic goods. The founder not only served the photo artistes of Tamil Nadu, but also that of entire South India. The founder brought up his off springs, Dass Brothers, instilling a vision to fly high and a passion to grow and achieve further and further in the field.  
     
      To fulfill the vision and aspiration of the father, Dass Brothers went a step forward and leaped into photo printing industry, by introducing “QSS (Quick service system) Photo Lab” the innovative colour photo printer to Chennai and to South Indian the year 1981.  
     
      That was at a time when colour photos were beyond the reach of our people, as one had to wait for more than a month for manual printing.  
     
      The uncrowned monarch of the celluloid world of those days, Mr.Amithabh Bachan   adding colour to the occasion by his presence, inaugurated the ever first photo colour lab of South India at Thyagaraya Nagar in Chennai in the year 1981. That marked the dawn of a new era in Chennai’s history of photography and the insertion of Chennai into the map of colour photography.  
     
      The people of Chennai experienced the thrill of witnessing the process of conversion of their negatives into positive colour photos, as the machine was displayed in action at an open hall. They were satisfied to the extent that they were able to record their memories in colour at their own city in their presence, within less than an hour after exposing of films.  
     
      Dass Brothers are the pioneers in photography and they still the lead photographic industry, keeping pace with the vast changes and technical improvements in the field having business establishments in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Vijayawada.  
     
      Dass Brothers have also established a camera show room, which is the largest in Asia at the most conspicuous location on Cathedral Road, Chennai, under the name and style as “CAMERA CITI”.
